Le Apron From Lucy Liu's New Dog-Friendly Line, Le Roar

Lucy Liu's pooch-covered apron is for dog-loving chefs

We're pretty obsessed with This Thing Now. Here's how to get it into your life.

When she isn't playing Dr. Joan Watson on Elementary, Lucy Liu is making dog-friendly gear with tailor and fellow Elementary colleague Ellen Stockbridge.

The two met on the set and bonded over their pups—Liu with her chocolate lab, Apple, and Stockbridge with her terrier mix, Gritz. They couldn't seem to find any products for their pooches that were both high quality and made with safe materials in case, you know, they ended up as a chew toy. So Liu and Stockbridge dreamed up Le Roar.

Launched late last month, the pet-friendly line manufactures products from fluffy cushions to squeaky toys, all made with lead-free zippers and cotton fabrics, and in the good ole U.S. As expected, our favorite of the bunch is Le Apron ($30), the duo's brightly patterned apron that does double duty as a splash guard for dog grooming and a stylish cover-up in the kitchen.

Now this is a gift both you and your pup can enjoy.
