This downtown Oakland shop’s ping-pong-ball-size doughnuts, each priced at $1 or less, are made for midmorning sugar cravings. The best may be the apple fritter, studded with freshly cooked apples, and the “chocolate bomb,” filled with chocolate-whiskey ganache.
