Peacock Garden Café

The fish casserole with fennel in a saffron broth was briny and delicious on a recent visit. Grilled artichoke with blue cheese dip should be ordered whenever available. There are also many good brunch options, including the Monte Cristo. Lingering lunches are de rigueur in such a charming spot. There is plenty of indoor seating, but the shady outdoor area is lovely, even in the summer.
