Chef Jordan Kahn is undoubtedly the most creative chef working in Los Angeles. The Vietnamese-inspired dishes he serves at Red Medicine are peppered with odd vegetables, edible flowers and myriad herbs. A dish of peas with yuzu, soy-milk yogurt, trout roe, purple cabbage and coconut is a recent standout on the oft-changing menu.
