Tressa Eaton Named New York Editor of TastingTable.com

New York, NY (January 2, 2012)--Tasting Table, the free daily epicurean email publication, has appointed Tressa Eaton to New York editor. In her new role, Eaton will manage all editorial content for Tasting Table's largest city edition.

Eaton is a native of Virginia. Before joining Tasting Table in June 2010, Eaton worked with Serious Eats, Apartment Therapy, Martha Stewart Living, Food & Wine and Gourmet. Eaton is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where she wrote her thesis on canning. She has also worked on farms in Spain, Virginia and Connecticut, and as a cheesemonger in Brooklyn, New York.

"Tressa has proven time and again that she is an excellent ambassador for Tasting Table, which extends beyond her ability to assign, write and craft superb stories for our largest city market," says Tasting Table editor in chief Scott Hocker. "She also has a keen sense of what our readers like to read about, and understands precisely what Tasting Table is trying to accomplish editorially."

Tasting Table has five city editions--New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. and San Francisco--and three national editions: National, Top Shelf and Chefs' Recipes.
