Tasting Table Welcomes New National Editor
New York, NY (July 1, 2010)--Tasting Table, the free epicurean daily e-mail, is thrilled to announce Kaitlyn Goalen as National edition editor. Goalen, who previously contributed to the New York edition, will now oversee content for the publication's largest national edition.
"While our city editions deliver local recommendations for urban tastemakers, our National edition focuses on larger food and drinks trends that affect how the entire country eats," says Nick Fauchald, editor-in-chief. "Kaitlyn brings an academic eye to these culinary currents and understands what makes them relevant to our national, epicurean audience."
A graduate of New York University with an emphasis in Food Studies, Goalen worked in the features department at Food & Wine magazine before joining Tasting Table. Prior to her writing career, she held positions in several top restaurants in both New York City and Los Angeles.
"Since joining Tasting Table, I've been continually impressed by the far-reaching coverage of the publication's National edition, from essential new ingredients to innovations behind the bar," says Goalen. "I'm eager to give my full focus to those forums and build on the National edition's standard of supplying our readers with the country's most delicious offerings."
