Tasting Table Announces Kai Mathey as Director of Communications
New York, NY (December 10, 2009)--Tasting Table, the free epicurean daily email, announced that Kai Mathey has joined the Table as Director of Communications. She will oversee the company's media relations and events, as well as develop "New York Specials," a new weekly edition set to launch in January 2010.
A graduate of the French Culinary Institute, Mathey comes to Tasting Table with a broad food media background, including public relations with Robin Insley Associates and event marketing for Food & Wine magazine. She's worked with major consumer brands such as the Macy's Culinary Council and Lucini Italia, as well as the country's premier wine and & food festivals: the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, the New York City Wine & Food Festival and the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen.
