Tasting Table Welcomes New Los Angeles Edition Editor
New York, NY (September 1, 2010)--Tasting Table, the country's fastest-growing digital epicurean publication, has named Willy Blackmore as the new editor of its Los Angeles edition. Blackmore is based in Los Angeles and will report to Editor-in-Chief Nick Fauchald.
"Willy is an emerging talent who's deeply in tune with the L.A. food scene," says Fauchald. "He brings a fresh voice and a keen understanding of what makes the city one of America's top eating and drinking destinations."
A graduate of the University of Iowa, Blackmore's work has appeared in OC Weekly, The Awl, LAist and The Huffington Post. He was a regular contributor to LA Weekly's Squid Ink food blog. He was also a founder and editor of Impetus Press, an independent publishing house that was based in Iowa until it closed in 2008.
