From the Test Kitchen: Pop Star
Regardless of how many times we get the opportunity to have a chef come into the Test Kitchen and cook with us, we get a bit giddy on every occasion. Susan Feniger’s visit was no different. While making her coconut-curry-caramel corn from her new book, Susan Feniger’s Street Food, she quickly transformed the vibe from that of a New York test kitchen into one more akin to her home kitchen. Along with cooking up the intoxicating aroma of toasting coconut, caramelizing sugar and an array of vibrant spices, Feniger provided amusing anecdotes from her travels around the world, many of which inspired the recipes in the cookbook. We are, without a doubt, hungry for more.
