Integrated Marketing Manager

Location: Tasting Table Headquarters in Soho, Manhattan, New York

Desired Start Date: March 2015

TastingTable.com, the website and newsletter for culinary enthusiasts nationwide, is seeking an Integrated Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing department.

This manager will work with the advertising sales team to create marketing programs that meet advertisers' brand goals and objectives. This includes the ideation and creation of innovative, integrated, advertiser-related marketing programs that include custom content (video, sponsored editorial, advertorial programs, social media promotions, custom ad units, landing pages, etc) and brand experiences (signature and custom events).

This position reports into the Associate Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Field day-to-day integrated marketing and RFP requests from advertising sales team
  • Create concise, persuasive and stylish sales presentations, decks and collateral that clearly communicate the unique offerings and value of Tasting Table as an integrated marketing partner
  • Collaborate closely with the advertising sales team to develop compelling, creative and strategic program ideas to meet advertiser goals
  • Coordinate with other departments to provide detailed hand-off sold marketing programs
  • Complete client recaps
  • Participate in client and agency meetings, calls and brainstorms, as needed
  • Independently manage workload to insure deadlines are met

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 Years of experience in digital media, communications or other related field (experience developing integrated marketing programs a plus)
  • Excellent persuasive writing and presentation development skills
  • Extremely organized multi-tasker
  • Solid understanding of the digital media landscape
  • Adept at working in a highly-collaborative atmosphere, yet comfortable owning projects
  • Passion for the food and drink culture (dining, drinking, cooking, entertaining, chefs, food travel, etc.)
  • Computer skills: Mac Applications, Microsoft Office Suite (InDesign and Photoshop a plus)

Brand Experiences Assistant

Location: Tasting Table Headquarters in Soho, Manhattan, New York

TastingTable.com is looking for an assistant to help support the brand experiences team at our New York City headquarters. If you have a strong interest in the digital media industry, a hunger to succeed in a startup environment and a passion for food, we want to hear from you!

This full-time position requires an obsessive attention to detail, excellent research and writing skills and a positive, go-getter attitude. Motivation, resourcefulness and enthusiasm are musts: Much of the projects are time-sensitive, so prioritization and time-management skills are essential to maintain efficiency. The Brand Experiences Assistant reports to the Senior Events Manager and will serve a vital role in coordination of events and custom brand activations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting in the day-to-day aspects of activations in multiple markets, including pre-event logistics, event promotion & marketing, vendor relations, on-site execution and post project recaps and surveys
  • Oversee production of co-branded printed collateral
  • Recruit and manage program/event volunteers
  • Fulfill necessary administrative responsibilities, include meeting scheduling, travel planning, expense reporting and vendor payments

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 - 2 years experience in communications, events, or project management
  • STRONG attention to detail

E-Commerce Editor

Location: Tasting Table Headquarters in SoHo, Manhattan, New York.

TastingTable.com, the website and daily email devoted to the best of food and drink culture, has an opening for an E-Commerce Editor in its New York City headquarters.

The E-Commerce Editor will produce food- and drink-related shopping content and gift guides for the website, as well as assist the editorial team as a whole.

Responsibilities:

  • Producing smart, engaging and useful product-oriented content covering all areas of food and drink (cookware, tabletop, bar gear, book reviews and more)
  • Working closely with the Managing Editor to help conceive, research and execute product- and gift-related stories and special features
  • Calling in products to test and shoot, as well as returning them to vendors
  • Maintaining a database of products and contacts for all features
  • Supporting the editorial team with additional research, fact-checking, writing and production work
  • Representing the publication as a member of the editorial team
  • Contributing any brainstorming required to support all of the Tasting Table teams/departments in pursuit of creating and maintaining a high-quality digital epicurean brand

 

Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree
  • Whip-smart researcher
  • Previous e-commerce/product review experience preferred
  • Editorial experience, especially if related to writing about food, restaurants and drinks
  • Familiar with the Tasting Table editorial voice and style

Partnerships Intern

Location: Tasting Table Headquarters in Soho, Manhattan, New York

TastingTable.com, the daily email publication devoted to the best of food and drink culture, is seeking an intern in New York City for the Partnership Marketing role. This paid internship will focus on the business side of our operations, specifically Tasting Table's brand partnerships team. This intern will support the team's efforts to develop and maintain third party partnerships with the purpose of acquiring subscribers.

Potential interns should be willing to commit to coming to the Tasting Table office in Soho at least 20 hours Monday through Friday for a duration of four months: February 2015 - May 2015.

This position requires an obsessive attention to detail, excellent research and writing skills with a positive, go-getter attitude. Motivation, resourcefulness and enthusiasm are musts as many of the projects are time-sensitive, so prioritization and time-management skills are essential to maintain efficiency.

Interested candidates do not need to be students in order to apply, but Tasting Table will work with college students on the process of doing the internship for school credit.

  • Supporting the workflow of marketing campaigns, both for Tasting Table and brand partners, to ensure they are executed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assisting in copywriting for marketing programs including proofreading to ensure final materials are within brand guidelines and messaging
  • Tracking, monitoring and reporting results to evaluate and improve the efficiencies of the marketing campaigns and channels used
  • Creating meeting agendas/recaps/call sheets as well as daily reports
  • Identifying partners with like-minded digital properties
