Cooking Without Bounds
An exclusive dinner with chef Ignacio Mattos
THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT.
It's hard to pin down Ignacio Mattos.
One day this Uruguayan-born chef is cooking heartfelt Italian at Noho’s Il Buco. The next he’s off to Williamsburg to create head-spinning cuisine at Isa.
Now that Mattos has left those projects behind, he’s without a kitchen to call his own. In the interim, we’ve offered him our fully kitted-out Test Kitchen--no strings attached.
On Monday, August 20 from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Tasting Table readers are invited to join us in our Test Kitchen & Dining Room for an intimate 30-person meal with Ignacio Mattos ($100; click here to purchase a ticket).
Cocktails and canapés will be followed by a multicourse dinner with wine.
The seasonal meal will showcase Mattos’s personal cooking style--technically complex but visually clean. There are already murmurings of Wellfleet oysters with yuzu ice.
Finally, Mattos will conduct a Q&A about his inspired cooking and future projects.
Join us as we find out just what this bold chef is up to next.
