So You Think You Can Cook?
Enter the Next Big Small-Brand Contest
This year, we've seen a bumper crop of delicious, small-batch edibles emerge from the boroughs, and a few (MILKimchi, Early Bird Granola, Salvatore Bklyn, Brooklyn Brine) have made it onto our greatest-hits list.
We're certain there are plenty more where they came from. Somewhere in a tiny kitchen (maybe yours) is NYC's next artisanal star in its nascent stages. And now you can realize that dream by entering the Next Big Small-Brand Contest.
If you're sitting on a great idea for a culinary product, submit it to the Rooster Design Group (the marketing brains behind Early Bird and Salvatore) by Nov. 30. Judges (from the likes of the Brooklyn Flea and Whole Foods) will pick the best pitch, and the winner will gain the branding and marketing services of the Rooster Design Group--gratis--to help catapult what may now be a pastime into a full-fledged enterprise.
The contest is open to anyone and everyone, so get to that drawing board.
