Baseball Stadiums' Best Eats - Food Trends

Stadium food to look forward to

Slightly warmer temperatures, longer days and the whisperings of baseball season: All signs point to summer.

As you plan your visits to the ballpark this year, consider these new eating and drinking attractions.

Seattle: Safeco Field, home of the Mariners, has some of the best eating options in major league sports, with a food court that boasts bites from Ethan Stowell and Roberto SantibaƱez. This upcoming season, cocktail geeks can also celebrate: Anu Apte, owner of Rob Roy bar, has signed on to do the drink menu for a new cocktail project, called Edgar's Cantina.

Atlanta: If you can't get your paws on one of the 24 coveted burgers at Holeman & Finch, just head to a Braves game. Linton Hopkins' team is working on a burger kiosk at Turner Field that will be open by the first home game, on April 1.

Philadelphia: The empire-building chef Michael Solomonov has confirmed that an outpost of his wildly popular Federal Donuts, which features fried chicken as well as the glazed sweets, will open at Citizens Bank Park this season.

Hot dogs have some serious competition.
