Recipe adapted from The Savoy Cocktail Book by Harry Craddock

Yield: 1 drink

Cook Time: 10 minutes

  • INGREDIENTS
  • Sugar

    Ice

    2 ounces cognac

    1 ounce orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or curaçao)

    1 ounce lemon juice

DIRECTIONS

Wet the rim of a chilled coupe and dip the rim in sugar. Set aside. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the cognac, orange liqueur and lemon juice. Shake well and strain into the sugar-rimmed coupe. Serve.
