Apricot Shandy

- INGREDIENTS
4 fresh apricots, sliced, plus more for serving
¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (from about 1½ medium lemons)
Four 12-ounce bottles chilled beer (pale ale or hefeweizen)
