Cheese, Please
The classic cheese ball revisited
With the holidays right around the corner, we dipped into our holiday entertaining arsenal to rethink the kitschy--yet lovable--party staple: the cheese ball. We combined cream cheese, sharp cheddar and just a bit of blue, but you can substitute any combination of mild and sharp cheeses. Finely chopped pickled peppadew peppers pack a pimento cheese-style twang and a hint of festive color. Pair with water crackers and cross one more item from your holiday party to-do list.
