Polished. Playful. Clever. Cool. Witty. Stylish. Smart. Sleek. Modern. These are the elements of great taste (at least in Tasting Table's book). These are also the words TT often uses to describe the food, drinks, chefs, restaurants and products its editors love.

To celebrate the arrival of summer—and enjoy some of these very things—TT decided to do something a little different this year. With the help of Samsung Home Appliance and some other partners, TT took over a huge house in the Hamptons, transformed it into the ultimate entertaining pad and invited some very special guests to brunches, barbecues and pool parties. Stocked with everything one needs to nail the perfect balance between crisp and breezy, it was truly a dream summer home.

Located in Sag Harbor—known as one of the prettiest villages in the Hamptons—Tasting Table's house was just a short drive from a historic wharf lined with beautiful sailboats (and sometimes even Jimmy Buffet's megayacht).

The kitchen was outfitted with Samsung Home Appliances that combine modern design and flexibility. Their spacious, sleek, stainless steel 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with Cool Select Plus has a bottom-right compartment that can go from freezer to fridge at the touch of a button. It also features state-of-the art cooling technology, which means summer-perfect granitas took less time to freeze, and any chilled ingredients stayed fresh longer. The Dual Door Range with Flex Duo Technology allows for cooking two different dishes at two different temperatures—at the same time (super handy when you're trying to make sure everything is done at once).

White counters help a kitchen feel fresh and clean. Wilsonart Quartz's stain- and scratch- resistant counters stay white and look new no matter how much entertaining abuse is heaped upon them (a lot this past June).

The deep, single-basin Kohler Strive sink has lithe lines, easy-to-clean curved corners and plenty of room to soak large baking dishes and party platters. Paired with the Kohler Purist faucet, the result was polished, yet practical—and timeless.

An open floor plan lends itself to graceful entertaining with an easy flow between the kitchen, dining room and living room. Tricked out with Samsung's brand-new 4K Smart Ultra High Definition TV featuring revolutionary nano-crystal technology and an immersive curved screen, plus their sleek, new Radiant360 R7 Wireless Speakers with patented 360-degree Ring Radiator technology, the viewing and listening experience was spectacular no matter where people sat.

Hand soaps and lotions in refreshing, earth-friendly scents, like Pear Blossom Agave and Sea Salt Neroli, from Caldrea helped set the mood (and the bottles are so pretty!).

Washing Machine

Easy cleanup is crucial for seamless entertaining. TT's gatherings had delicious food, refreshing cocktails, picturesque decor and full, happy guests—oh, and maybe a spill or two (it happens to everyone). Samsung's powerful Washer with activewashTM was ready for anything, equipped with a built-in sink for pretreating and presoaking to get out even the most stubborn stains. Their Waterwall Dishwasher with Zone Booster technology also got quite the workout, and the POWERbot Robotic Vacuum was on 24/7 crumb duty.

Pool

Of course, no summerhouse is complete without a pool.

A quick drive into town for last-minute ingredients? No problem. BMW's new i3 electric car—named one of 10 best green cars for 2015 by Kelley Blue Book— was on hand for trips long and short.

You could call it effortless entertaining. TT called it June. Here, enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of TT's first-ever Hamptons House presented by Samsung.
