Chicago is now home to not one but two waffle sandwich joints. This newest (joining Bel 50) offers Liege-style waffles in addition to sweet and savory "fold and go" waffle concoctions.
This sprawling new River North restaurant, run by chef Kendal Duque, is now open for lunch. On the menu: burgers, a lobster roll, a smoked-turkey club and more sandwiches, soups and salads.
This River North restaurant is now open for weekday lunch, Mon. to Fri. from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m, with dishes like chicken salad sandwiches, steak frites and potato-chip gnocchi.
The MileNorth Hotel's new restaurant (which replaced C-House) is now open, with a 64-seat dining room and a market stocked with to-go snacks.
This popular roaster's Logan Square shop is now open. In addition to coffee, it's stocked with snacks from Floriole Bakery, boxed loose-leaf teas from Intelligentsia's new tea line, and a handful of periodicals.
