Limited-Edition Star Wars Ice Cream From Ample Hills

A Brooklyn ice cream shop is making limited-edition Star Wars pints

Luke Skywalker: humble farm boy, the greatest Jedi of all time and ice cream lover.

The last one may be speculation, but Ample Hills Creamery's new exclusive flavors have us thinking otherwise. In anticipation of the new Star Wars movie, out December 18, the Brooklyn ice cream shop has teamed up with Disney to offer a limited-edition pack of Star Wars ice cream. Brian Smith, longtime franchise fan (and Ample Hills owner along with wife Jackie Cuscuna) says, "It might just be the coolest thing we've ever done."

With galaxy-high hype for The Force Awakens, we agree. But there's no blue milk here—just four-packs ($36 each) of freshly made small-batch pints, two each of The Light Side and The Dark Side varieties. Ward off evil with The Light Side's smooth marshmallow ice cream speckled with homemade crispies. Then embrace The Dark Side with chocolate ice cream, espresso fudge brownies, cocoa crispies and white chocolate pearls—because you can always find some light in the dark.

Starting now, the online-only special batches are available for nationwide shipping. The collectible containers feature original artwork and are reusable, so you can add fandom flair to all your packed lunches.

Order now—just make sure you save a pint to sneak into the movie theater on premiere night.
