Join Hugh Acheson For A Guest Chef Dinner

Join Hugh Acheson for a Guest Chef dinner at the Tasting Table Test Kitchen

James Beard Award-winning chef, author and Top Chef judge Hugh Acheson owns restaurants in Athens (Five & Ten, The National), Savannah (The Florence) and Atlanta (Empire State South).

But why should Georgia have all the fun? For one night only on May 5, he's taking over the Tasting Table Test Kitchen in Soho for a feast inspired by his latest book, The Broad Fork ($35). Get your ticket ($200, plus tax, per person) for the one-of-a-kind dinner—which includes a signed copy of the book.

Acheson's hyper-seasonal menu is crafted to highlight the best of the farmers' market bounty, with passed apps and four courses, which will include a Southern artichoke dip, spring onion risotto, braised veal cheek with crushed peas and gremolata, a strawberry-rhubarb pie and plenty more. It's all paired perfectly with custom cocktails, specially selected wines and after-dinner drinks—not to mention a Q&A with the chef.

Appetite whet? Nab your tickets now, and while you're waiting for May 5 to arrive, make a batch of Acheson's smoky, nut-studded roasted poblano and pecan guacamole and learn more about why Tasting Table recently dubbed him The Pot Stirrer.
