How To Make A Dark And Stormy Margarita

This margarita and Dark and Stormy mash-up from Joe Campanale is the opposite of gray

Mixologist Joe Campanale takes the tequila from a margarita and combines it with spicy ginger beer from a Dark and Stormy in this one-of-a-kind cocktail. The contrast in colors between the amaro and tequila base produces a distinct layering effect that makes for a showstopping drink.

"I love ginger beer and will come up with practically any excuse to use it-the spice plays well with the tequila," Campanale says. He recommends Fever-Tree brand, which is made with a blend of three gingers from Nigeria, Cochin and the Ivory Coast.
