Recipe: Green Tea Punch

Make the punch ahead of time in a pitcher, then pour it over ice to serve.

Ingredients
  • 6 ounces brewed sencha tea
  • 6 ounces brewed mint tea
  • 4 ounces demerara sugar
  • 2 cups ice
  • 12½ ounces white rum, such as Banks 5 Island rum
  • 5 ounces fresh lime juice
  • Freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish
Directions
  1. In an iced tea pitcher, combine both teas. Stir in the sugar until it dissolves, then add the ice. Add the rum and and the lime juice.
  2. Chill the punch in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving it. Pour it into ice-filled Old-Fashioned glasses and garnish each drink with freshly grated nutmeg.
