Del Sur Gourmet Market Has Everything You Need

The rest of the country throws barbecues and picnics come summer.

Between afternoon deluges and torpor-inducing humidity, Miami isn't too excited about outdoor eating in August.

May we suggest taking your picnic indoors? The new Del Sur Gourmet Market is lovely for dining in, but also has terrific options, via Argentina, for your next no-cook get-together.

Start your picnic with the 2010 Castell del Remei Blanc Planell Lleida Macabeo-Sauvignon Blanc ($15 for 750 ml), a crisp, floral white wine with citrus notes.

Pair the wine with the mozzarella tasting for two, which serves far more than two, especially as an appetizer. Burrata and smoked mozzarella cheeses are accompanied by wine marmalade and honey ($18).

Tangle your fork around expertly cooked linguine with creamy saffron-tomato sauce, squeaky mozzarella, black olives and arugula for the next course ($17).

For a larger appetite, try the hefty lomito sandwich ($13), layered with juicy steak, fried egg, roasted red peppers and ham. Pair it with a 2010 Tikal Patriota Mendoza Malbec-Bonarda ($24 for 750 ml). The plum-colored wine is more fruit-forward than pure Malbec, and a smooth counterpoint to the grilled meat.

Cap the meal with berry-topped, spongy lemon cake ($3) and a gently sweet dulce de leche cheesecake ($4).
