Lionfish Derby

Teams of divers will compete to see who can catch the most lionfish ($120 per team; register here, rules and details here). REEF holds regular lionfish derbies for cash prizes (download PDF) to curb the population of lionfish, an invasive species that eats almost anything in its path.
