Walter Manzke, the much-lauded onetime chef of Church & State, is heading to Manhattan Beach later this month for a one-night-only dinner at The Strand House. The five-course meal ($150; call 310-545-7470 to reserve) will feature such dishes as spot prawns with white corn, and Thai curry.
